Upon payment of the deposit and booking, all terms and conditions are accepted by the client.
Emilia Maria is based on the Gold Coast but is happy to travel to Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Northern NSW & Toowoomba including surrounding suburbs.
Travel fees may apply depending on location.
Travel to Toowoomba is only available when a 3+ person booking is made.
Emilia Maria is also available for interstate/destination weddings as well as national/international bookings.
Weddings: Require a 20% non-refundable deposit/booking fee via bank transfer to secure the wedding day.
The remaining amount is due no later than 14 days before the wedding day.
Refunds of any monies paid are not given if the wedding/booking is cancelled.
Once a booking is made & secured, the number of people cannot be decreased. However, if desired, the booking can be increased.
If the number is decreased, please note that the individuals portion cannot be refunded or credited, however more than happy for you to find someone to fill the spot.
All Other Bookings: Require a $30 non-refundable deposit/booking fee to secure the booking and the remaining amount may be paid via bank transfer, cash or card facilities before or on the day but no later.
Refunds on any monies paid are not given is the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the appointment date.
When paying via bank transfer, please ensure to message or email the transfer receipt for our records.
Card Facilities do incur a 2.2% surcharge.
Bookings are not secured until the deposit is paid (including trials).
Deposits go towards the total cost.
Please note for groups or weddings, if any changes occur once a deposit has been paid or the total amount has been paid and there is a reduction in the number, no refunds or credits will be issued.
All locations requiring payment for parking, the full cost of parking will be charged to the client. This includes parking at any hotel or venue requiring payment for parking in their vicinity.
Parking must be paid for in full prior to the booking or on the day via bank transfer or card facilities.
I send out a confirmation 48-72 hours in advance.
If no one is at the location within 15 minutes of the agreed-upon time, the booking will be considered a cancellation.
Makeup applications take approximately 30-60mins & hairstyling takes 30-45mins depending on the look desired.
All makeup applications & hairstyling are 1 look only, with minor adjustments if needed.
If you wish for any part of your makeup to be completely redone, an additional $50 fee applies.
No refunds are given after the services have been performed for any reason.
Emilia Maria can not be held responsible for any reactions to the skin or face that may occur after a makeup application or damage caused to the hair.
If I feel that the client is being unreasonable regarding the satisfaction with the makeup/hair, and/or the application is taking longer than 2 hours, I have the right to refuse my services and to leave the premises immediately and any monies paid will not be refunded.
Due to health and safety regulations, no other person is to touch any product or equipment belonging to Emilia Maria without consent. Please take care of children to not be present near the application area as there may be cords, hot tools, liquids, etc.
Emilia Maria can not be held responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur to children or pets.
Any loss or damage to my products or equipment caused by the client, or any member including children and pets present in the vicinity, whether real, incidental or consequential; the cost of the replacement of these items will be charged to the client. The replacement of the items is payable on the day via bank transfer or card and an invoice will be sent to the customer within 24 hours.

Text messages and emails are not a reliable form of contact for cancellations at short notice.
Booking fees are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled at any time.
Please understand that as per the standard T&C's, I will not be able to refund the non-refundable deposit but I am more than happy to transfer your deposit to another date with no additional change of date fees associated or put a credit on your account to use whenever you like with no expiration date.
If you decide to postpone within a month of the original date, the initial deposit will be forfeited.
However, if you choose to postpone more than a month out due to restrictions, will be able to move your deposit to a new date (one date transfer per couple).
